Release planning and implementation for new insurance division of a major banking group
A major financial services group, following a significant acquisition, established a new insurance division. To integrate the acquired company with the existing business, they embarked on rolling out multiple major software releases. An IPMC team was brought in to handle the integration program, which included planning and coordinating stakeholder engagement, organizing planning workshops, ensuring program planning assurance, and orchestrating migration weekend activities. Our team developed and managed five separate major release plans to facilitate a smooth integration process.
Basel II Compliance
A leading banking group required support for implementing its Basel II Compliance Programme. An IPMC team established a Project Management Office (PMO) to oversee and plan the implementation process. We provided a tactical reporting solution to ensure compliance in the measurement of arrears, defaults, and loss functions. Additionally, we implemented standardized reporting procedures and trained a permanent staff member to take on the role of PMO Manager, ensuring sustainable compliance management.
Strategic implementation for mobile payment platform
A mobile payments start-up sought to navigate the rapidly evolving payments industry to develop a market strategy for launching its payments and advertising application. IPMC was initially tasked with analyzing the latest industry developments and providing strategic recommendations for engaging key industry players. After the strategy was defined, we were engaged to plan the development and rollout of the mobile application in the North American market. This involved conducting detailed analyses of retail locations and using GIS modelling to optimize the rollout strategy.
